The Quebec Bridge disaster of 1907 killed 33 ironworkers from the Kanien’kehá:ka community of Kahnawà:ke. Barbara Kaneratonni Diabo’s great-grandfather, Louis D’Ailleboust, was one of the men who perished in the tragedy. More than a century later, Sky Dancers shines a light on the resilience and contributions Indigenous people, particularly women, made on Turtle Island in the 20ᵗʰ century.
